Financial transparency
A head office in Monaco and separate accounts.
Mission Enfance, whose statutes are registered in the Principality of Monaco and at the Prefecture of Paris in France, has a common administrative and logistic headquarters in the Principality where the association was born.
The two structures are legally and accountingly distinct. They are united and complementary in their action. For this reason, the balance sheets are presented with separate accounts for France and Monaco. A consolidated account (France + Monaco) gives a cumulative and synthetic view of the resources devoted per country.
A double financial control and a rigorous organisation of expenditure commitment.
The accounts and balance sheets of Mission Enfance France and Mission Enfance Monaco are subject to the control of an auditor, Mrs. Bettina Ragazzoni-Janin/KPMG-GLD, as well as to the verification of the General Control of Expenditure of the Government of Monaco, for the Monaco accounts, which participates, through an annual subsidy to the running costs of the association, covering on average 80% of the expenses of this item. The association's patrons supplement this annual subsidy. In 2023, 99.19 % of donations were used directly in the field.
And finally, the chairwoman, the treasurer and the director having power of signature on the bank accounts of the association, countersign the expenses incurred by the direction of Mission Enfance.
Mission Enfance's strength : our private donors, guarantors of our independence and efficiency.
The private donor, a unique and fundamental role.
Private donations are irreplaceable. They allow us to intervene quickly in emergency situations. Private donations are a guarantee of useful independence in the implementation of humanitarian aid for vulnerable children.
Institutional partnerships
The association also operates through its institutional relays. The European institutional or governmental partners are linked, within the framework of a specific contract, to Mission Enfance France. These partnerships multiply our humanitarian actions.
A regular control of accounts and actions
The association's Board of Directors, made up of 10 members with professional background, ensures that the association's objectives are respected and that rigorous management criteria defined by the treasurer are applied. The organisation's accounts are presented to our active members by our auditor appointed by the General Assembly at our Annual General Meeting. The publication of the accounts is sent to each donor who makes a request to the head office of the association.
The premises in Monaco are put at our disposal free of charge by the Principality in Monaco.
