SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN'S EDUCATION

Context

Ethiopia, a country located in the Horn of Africa, is currently facing serious economic problems (ethnic conflicts within its territory, decline in foreign investment, decline in foreign currency, etc.). In April 2024, a Mission Enfance team conducted an exploratory mission in the south, a more peaceful region of the country. In the area inhabited by the Gamo-Gofa ethnic group, around the town of Arba-Minch, Loretta Cointe (Helping Education) has built numerous primary and secondary schools.

 

Goal

PROVIDING ETHIOPIAN PUPILS WITH EFFECTIVE TEACHING TOOLS AND EDUCTION

After completing the Demeka nursery school in 2025, Mission Enfance will begin construction of two buildings (five classrooms and a laboratory/computer room) for the 1,200 pupils of Doko Mesho High School.
